Caprino is in the immediate hinterland of lake Garda at the foot of Monte Baldo, the most important service centre in the district. The hamlet of Spiazzi is much favoured by tourists and visitors to the Madonna della Corona sanctuary on the cliff overlooking the Adige valley from a height of over 500m. Set in the traditional agriculture of the area there are many elegant villas to admire as well as the oldest plane tree in Italy, an established national treasure.
